Recommended by the company XLR, the id-al partner for Belgium and Luxembourg, the EventPlayer reference , interactive audio player and show controller, was selected by Volvo Cars to equip its assembly line in the plant of Gent. The electrical engineer Jan Demaecker (Move-it BVBA) oversaw the project and the installation has been entrusted by the company ATS nv Merelbeke to its technical manager Frederik van Onsem (electricity and sound).
The system, inspired by the LEAN method originally developed by Toyota is now deployed within Volvo Gent plant and aims to improve the regulation of assembly paces. It structures the broadcast of a music program (FM), alert and security messages (id-al EventPlayer) . 23 production lines are equipped with an individual 100V sound system and an id-al EventPlayer with a multitude of contacts of triggering for an audible warning visually relayed visual on LCD screens. A trio of Bose ESP88 matrices allows the routing of the sources onto the points of broadcasting. Installed alongside the 23 production lines, the contacts allow a report of an anomaly, and also trigger a visual warning on LCD screens. The deployed Volvo factory system of Gent aims to improve the control of the paces of assembly.
Event Player, the id-al high-end audio player, is also a show controller acclaimed by integrators for their need to synchronize audio, light and complex automation. For the record, the control of the scenography of the event « Eiffel tower 120 years » was coordinated by EventPlayer.
Interactive Digital Audio Line (ID-AL) is distributed by Waves System
