The Waves System / ID-AL history
ID-AL is a trademark of Waves System.
Created in 1986 by Bernard KELLER, the company opened a recording studio then opened a music store near Paris/France.
From 1998, the company imports sound cards (Turtle Beach, Hoontech, E-MU, Digital Audio Labs, ADB …), software (Sonic Foundry, BPM Studio, Jammer, PCDJ, Cool Audio, Frontier … ) and material (DVinyl, Jomox, MAM, Mutator, SM Pro ..) that it distributes throughout France.
In 2001, move near Nantes at west of France. In 2002, for the needs of listening to sound CDs, Waves System designed a first MP3 player for a kiosk. The technology is adopted, the ID-AL brand is created and many products are designed and manufactured in Loire Atlantique/France.
The video arrives few years later as well as products for show control (sound and light management). Sales are growing, the range is evolving and technology is becoming more and more powerful.
Since 2013, the company has been manufacturing and renting through a network of professionals, the « DJ Virtuel », a player to animate party.
With its integrated design office, the company offers tailor-made products from its technological core.
Late 2017 Waves System acquires the license of the Hypersound directional loudspeakers to the Americans. These products are now manufactured in its office.
