Let’s start with an interactive animation made by the Dutch company Flinkzijn (www.flinkzijn.nl) in the Amsterdam harbor on board the museum vessel » De Amsterdam « . This XVIII’s Vessel is a replica of the Dutch East India Company, where sounds of the everyday living of the sailors are broadcasted. Two cannons of the weaponry are equipped with a serie of push buttons that illustrates acoustically different steps of Naval Combat: loading, firing and cannon shooting . The wheel of the vessel is also wired for sound and triggering are made according to its rotation port – starboard. (MicroPlayer and MicroSwitch Id-Al).
Still in the field of interactivity, id-al VP100 hdi and Flash MPX hd video players are installed in the permanent exhibition of the Fort Ingall Quebec archaeological and historic site , installation by DeRoo & Filles . The exhibition opened in August 2012 shows an unknown conflict between Canadian and American loggers at the time of the War of Independence of the United States. This exhibition was a huge success due to, I quote: » the use of contemporary or unconventional museography means and have introduced the public to this part of Canada’s history museum. » Fort Ingall won the « Innovation – attraction » regional Gala Grand Prix du tourisme québécois. www.mcc.gouv.qc.ca/?id=1980
We change from continent with an audiovisual animation made in the Prague Zoo http://www.zoopraha.cz/cs/(Czech Republic). Scenography is based on audio players MyMusicPlayer and video player VP100 hdi dedicated to the broadcast of music, sounds, messages, comments, and videos. These players are located within patch panel cabinet. Kiosks are spread in buildings and natural areas of the zoo, with a high point in the popular Valley of elephants. www.zoopraha.cz
